It was fireworks this past Sunday as Kofi Owusu
Peprah treated fans and viewers to an exhilarating performance at the weekend’s installment of the “Power of Worship” Virtual Concert. This is a weekly virtual
concert under the auspices of Silicon House Productions. It is transmitted
across the internet and television networks for viewers to connect remotely
into a strong atmosphere of praise and worship.
Preceding the performance was an interview with
hostess Mz Dru, where Kofi could not hide his excitement to be on the show,
describing it as a “humbling experience” considering his background. The host
Fifi Folson also introduced him as “one of the finest, sensational gospel
ministers of our time”.
Backed by his amazing band known as the
Peculiar Sound, the preacher’s kid delivered a repertoire of powerful praise
and worship songs well segmented to meet the needs of a varied audience.
Highlights included the performance of hit songs such as “Big God” “Matwen
Awurade Anim” and “Yesu Nyame Ba” which were all re-arranged to bring
spontaneity and freshness to the show, as well as prove his versatility across
multiple genres of music.
The event which was powered from the virtual studios of Silicon House Productions ran without any technical hitches and therefore gave viewers and fans that seamless experience to real worship.
